BOURNE – Both westbound lanes of Rte. 6 at the base of the Sagamore Bridge have been re-opened following an accident this morning.
The crash scene was cleared just before 9 a.m.
There were no initial reports of injuries or of what caused the accident.
Traffic was backed up to Exit 2 westbound at one point while crews cleared the scene.
