BARNSTABLE – The murder trial for a former Centerville man charged with killing a pregnant Nantucket woman in 2010 began this morning with jury selection.

Quoizel Wilson arrived at Barnstable Superior Court today in a sheriff’s van at about 8:50 a.m.

Jury selection began at about 9:30 a.m. By 1 p.m., 12 jurors had been selected to serve on the jury, six men and six women.

Jury selection will continue Wednesday morning and opening arguments are also expected that day.

The trial was initially set to begin last week.

Prosecutors allege Wilson murdered Trudie Hall after she arrived in Hyannis from Nantucket on July 28, 2010. They say she was pregnant with Wilson’s child at the time.

Her remains were found nearly two years later in woods off Hayway Road in Falmouth.
