Truro Voters Return Incumbent to Select Board; Approve Tax Overrides

TRURO – Truro voters re-elected incumbent select board member Jan Worthington and elected newcomer Kristen Reed to the select board in Tuesday’s election.

Two other challengers, John Dundas and Gary Palmer, finished out of the running for the two available seats.

Races for school committee and several other boards were uncontested.

Several tax overrides passed, including money to replace a fire department vehicle, repairs to the Truro Library and funding for a new swap shop building at the landfill.
