MARSTONS MILLS – Two car crashes in close proximity on Route 28 stalled traffic in Marstons Mills this afternoon.
One crash took place at about 4 p.m. on Route 28 just east of the Marstons Mills Elementary School building. The second happened just west of the first accident at the intersection of Route 28 and Route 149.
Traffic slowed to a stop at just after 4 p.m. as emergency crews responded to the crashes.
By 5 p.m., one crash had been cleared but public safety officials were still clearing the second crash.
