BARNSTABLE – A Barnstable County Superior Court jury convicted two men yesterday for the murder of a Hyannis man in 2012.

Steven Webster, 31, and Eddie Mack Jr., 31, were found guilty of beating and killing 28-year-old Andrew Stanley at a home on Otis Road. Mack and Webster were sentenced to life without parole.

Stanley was found by police with his hands and feet bound with duct tape. He had been shot once and later died.

District Attorney Michael O’Keefe said the murder was “committed with extreme atrocity and cruelty.”

“There is no greater service that a citizen can give than to serve as a juror on a case such as this. It is hard work, and I thank them,” O’Keefe added.

Two others are facing charges in connection with the murder.
