Two Month Probe Results in 5 Drug Arrests in Falmouth

Falmouth Police CrestFALMOUTH – Falmouth police executed search warrants at two locations Thursday morning and arrested five people on drug-related charges.

At 20 Waquoit Farms Drive, officers said they found 10 grams of cocaine. Robert Labaire, Cedric Andrews and Shawna Costa were arrested and charged with drug possession and conspiracy to violate the controlled substance act.

Labaire was also charged with failing to appear on a Florida warrant for possession of cocaine.

At the same time, Falmouth officers were executing another warrant and 14 Leonard Drive, where they seized 65 grams of heroin, 10 grams of cocaine, a quantity of prescription pills and $5,169 in cash.

Arrested at that home were Preston Hendricks and Crystal Costa. Both were charged with trafficking in heroin, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and conspiracy. A 6 year old child was in the home at the time.

Both warrants were executed at 5:30 a.m.

Investigators say both homes are believed to be part of a large scale narcotics operations. The arrests were the culmination of a two month investigation that involved controlled purchases of narcotics.
