Undefeated Nauset Boys Soccer Vies For State Title

EASTHAM – The Nauset boys soccer team is off to the state championship after a shutout victory over Bishop Feehan Monday.

The Warriors notched a 2-0 victory in the Division 2 South championship, their 22nd consecutive shutout. The game was played at Barnstable High School.

Undefeated Nauset now faces Division 2 North champion Masconomet (21-2-1) in the division 2 finals later this week. Masconomet beat Beverly 4-0 to earn their place in the championship game.

Officials with the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Assocation have yet to announce a date and a location for the state championship.

The Warriors are 22-0 this year.
