Underage Drinkers Targeted in Sting

FALMOUTH – Underage drinkers and those who serve them are being warned by Falmouth Police that they are running sting operations on establishments that serve or sell alcohol.

The program is aimed at enforcing the drinking age.

Detective Michael Simoneau said the department will be running the operation at least through the end of the year.

Police test businesses through the use of undercover officers and underage operatives.

Simoneau said police hope all of the establishments pass the test.
