Upcoming Events to Check Out at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod

SOUTH YARMOUTH – The Cultural Center of Cape Cod is encouraging people to check out several of their upcoming events.

On Thursday, February 28 at 7:00 p.m., join the Center at “One World – Three Voices.” At the event, participants will enjoy original stories and poetry by writers Patricia Austin, Judith Partelow and JoAnn Nadeau

On Sunday, March 3, the center invites all to attend the semi-final round of Poetry Out Loud. This regional competition, in which high school students from the Cape and south shore recite some of the world’s finest poetry, to vie for a chance to compete in Boston and eventually at the finals in Washington, DC.

The event, scheduled for 1:00 p.m., is free and open to the public.

Join the center and members of the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) from 7:00 p.m. through 9:00 p.m. on March 8 for an annual International Women’s Day event.

The center’s annual event, “Moving On – Journeys of Origin,” brings the local community together to listen to the personal stories of immigration from local women, highlighting their resilience and strength.
