WAREHAM – A 23-year-old Wareham man stabbed yesterday afternoon inside of a Cumberland Farms in Wareham has died.

The victim, Dwayne Borges, was transferred from Tobey Hospital in Wareham to Boston Medical Center where he later died.

Wareham Police arrested four Wareham men allegedly involved in a stabbing.

Latroy Hairston, 19, Jared Frye, 19, Demetrius Goshen, 18 and Adrian Garcia, 20, where all charged with assault with intent to murder and are currently being held at the Wareham Police Department.

The arrests were made within a close distance to the scene, according to Wareham Police.

Two of the men were taken into custody on Indian Neck Road and the other two were arrested on the railroad tracks towards the rear of Merchant’s Way.

Borges was stabbed during an altercation between several males Wednesday inside the Cumberland Farms on Main Street in Wareham around 11:40 a.m.

The case is still under investigation by the Wareham Police Department and State Police detectives.
