Visioning Sessions Held to Determine Needs for Mattacheese and Wixon Schools

YARMOUTH – The Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School District was accepted by the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) to study renovations or new construction for Mattacheese Middle School and Wixon Intermediate School.

The district is looking to address the long-term educational needs for both schools.

The MSBA helps fund school projects across the state, selecting schools with the highest priority of need annually to collaborate with them toward a solution.

The district, along with their architectural firm Perkins Eastman, is holding three visioning sessions to help determine what is important to consider as they design their school renovation or new building.

The meetings will be held in the D-Y High School Library at 7 p.m. on October 5th and 18th and November 15th.
