Volunteers Needed to Lay Wreaths at National Cemetery

BOURNE – Volunteers are still needed to help lay holiday wreaths on thousands of grave sites of soldiers in the National Cemetery.

The wreaths will be laid on Saturday, December 17th and an official ceremony will be held at noon that same day.

The event is part of an annual nationwide effort from Wreaths Across America to honor soldiers during the holiday season.

Last year, the cemetery held the most wreaths sponsored at over 7,000.
