BARNSTABLE – Residents in Barnstable who are not registered to vote have one more week to do so in order to participate in the Town Election on November 5.

Individuals who have moved into town or within the town, or changed their address or name need to contact or visit the Town Clerk’s office by October 16.

Any person who is currently registered to vote does not need to re-register.

The Town Clerk’s office will be open on Wednesday, October 16 until 8 p.m. for voter registration issues.

Candidates for School Committee, Housing Authority and odd numbered Town Council seats will be on the ballot.

Absentee ballots are in and may be completed in the Town Clerk’s office. Residents may also request for an absentee ballot to be mailed out.

Anyone with questions on the election or registration may contact the Clerk’s office at 508-862-4044.
