Wareham man arrested and charged in gas station hold up

WAREHAM – A Wareham man has been arrested and charged in connection with the robbery of the Speeway Gas Station on Main Street Wednesday night.

As the result of an investigation, an arrest warrant was obtained Thursday for Nathan Andrade, 39, along with a search warrant for his home 34 Cedar Street in Wareham.

Wareham detectives and officers executed the search warrant at 2:00 pm, at which time evidence pertaining to the Speedway robbery, including clothing items were allegedly recovered.

Andrade was placed under arrest at the scene and has been charged with Armed Robbery (knife) While Masked. Andrade was booked at the Wareham Police Department, then transported to Wareham District Court for arraignment.
