Wareham Voters Making Choices in Races for Selectmen, School Committee

     WAREHAM – Wareham voters are heading to the polls today with a couple of contested races on the ballot.

     In the race for selectmen, incumbent selectman Alan Slavin is facing a challenge from Marc Bianco for a three-year term

     Mary Bruce is running unopposed for the unexpired two-year term left by Judith Whiteside.

     Three people are running for two seats on the Wareham school committee, including incumbent Geoffrey Swett and challengers Michael Flaherty and Rebekah Pratt.

     There are uncontested races for assessor, deputy moderator, housing authority, sewer user commissioner and non-sewer user commissioner.

     Polls are open in Wareham until 8 p.m.
