Warrant Articles on Agenda at Orleans Forum

 

ORLEANS – The Orleans Citizens Forum is holding a gathering tomorrow to discuss the warrant articles on the ballot at the upcoming town meeting.

The discussion will consider the $47 million wastewater management plan, including funding proposals. Two land acquisitions will be considered as well, a Sipson Island conservation restriction and the acquisition of land on Lonnies Pond.

Leading the discussion will be Alan Mclenan, Chaiman of the Board of Selectman, Lynn Bruneau, the Finance Committee Chair, Tom Parece, a wastewater consultant and Mark Robinson, Executive Director of the Compact of Cape Cod Conservation Trust.

The forum will take place Thursday afternoon from 3:30-5 at the Orleans Senior Center.
