HARWICH PORT – A local organization that’s dedicated to empowering women, is hosting a free, confidential workshop for grandparents raising their grandchildren.
WE CAN is offering the event titled, “Legal Issues Facing Grandparents Raising Grandchildren” on May 11 from 5-8 p.m. at the Barnstable Senior Center.
Presented by Attorney Lynn Girton, the session is co-sponsored by Cape Cod Neighborhood Support Coalition, the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Grandparents Raising Grandchildren and the Barnstable Senior Center.
The workshop is intended to respond to the legal questions and needs of grandparents raising grandchildren.
