Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary Hosting Seabird Cruise in Cape Cod Bay

DENNIS – The Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary are bringing Cape Cod bird and ocean lovers on a Seabird Cruise around Cape Cod Bay next week.

Join the sanctuary team on Saturday, November 10 as they cruise from Sesuit Harbor in Dennis into Cape Cod Bay aboard the Albatross. The crew will search for alcids, loons, gannets, and sea ducks taking flight or just floating on the waves.

The cruise may even get the chance to spot gray and harbor seals along with other marine life.

Sanctuary staff ask participants to dress for the weather with a windbreaker and sunscreen. They also recommend bringing drinking water and a pair of binoculars.

The cruise is suitable for all, including children between 10 and 18 years old. Admission for adult and child members of the sanctuary is $42 while non-members pay $52.

Pre-registration is required for the Seabird Cruise. Call the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary or log on to their website to register.
