Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary Hosts Haunted Forest Walking Tour on October 28

Cape Cod HalloweenWELLFLEET – The Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary is hosting tour through the Haunted Forest on October 28 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Celebrate Halloween by exploring the Sanctuary’s haunted pine forest after dark.

As participants stroll along an illuminated trail, they’ll be entertained and enlightened by curious characters from the natural world that they’ll meet along the way.

Participants can wear costumes to add to the festive atmosphere and the fun continues in the Sanctuary’s game room, where kids can win prizes and get their faces painted.

Walking tours begin every fifteen minutes and everyone is asked to arrive and check-in at least 10 minutes before the start of their tour.

Participants are also encouraged to dress for the weather and anticipate being outside for up to an hour.

The Sanctuary’s Halloween-themed game room will be open until 8:30 p.m. and families are welcome to enjoy the activities before or after their tour of the Haunted Forest.

The program is recommended for children ages 3 through 12 but everyone is welcome.

Those with small children can choose an early start time and all participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

The cost for the event is $9 for adults and $5 for children members and $11 for adults and $7 for children non-members.
