WELLFLEET – Wellfleet Elementary School’s biggest fundraiser takes place today.
The WES Fest runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Baker’s Field in Wellfleet village and includes carnival rides, facepainting, live music and Lewis Brothers’ homemade ice cream.
The eight annual kids carnival benefits the school’s field trips and after school activities.
Around $8,000 was raised through last year’s event.
