WELLFLEET – The Wellfleet Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man seen in a video stealing a penny jar for a non-profit business.
The man is suspected of stealing the donation jar from Mass Appeal, a non-profit organization that collects and distributes second hand clothes. The organization is located adjacent to the Dunkin Donuts in Cove Plaza in Wellfleet.
Mass Appeal reported the crime to police.
Police say the theft occurred on Monday September 29 at approximately 11:58 am.
While they do not have a suspect, police have released videos showing the man they suspect stole the jar.
