Wellfleet Police thank voters for supporting renovation plans

Message from Wellfleet Police Department

The members of the Wellfleet Police Department would like to thank everyone for their support in the proposed renovations of the Wellfleet Police Station.

On Tuesday November 15th, over 180 residents, in spite of the rain attended a rare Fall Special Town Meeting to consider this important project.

By a resounding voice vote, Article 1, the police renovation project was passed.

On Wednesday November 16th, a special Town Election was held, with 328 voters taking time from their busy day to cast a vote on this project. The Wellfleet Police renovation project passed with 229 votes yes and 99 votes no.

Again thank you to all for bringing this project to fruition. We will keep you updated as we progress through this renovation project.
