WELLFLEET – Art galleries and shellfish will be highlighted this weekend in Wellfleet.
Wellfleet Shellfish Promotion and Tasting, Inc., or Wellfleet SPAT, will host its second Art & Oyster Crawl Saturday, October 12 from 5 to 8 p.m.
Guests will visit participating galleries while tasting local oysters and clams paired with wines and local beer.
A shellfish farmer, a wine or beer representative and a SPAT board member will be at each gallery to let people know about shellfishing, the fine wines and craft beer and the mission of the non-profit organization.
Participating galleries include Burdick Gallery, Cove Gallery, Left Bank Gallery, The Works Gallery and Harmon Gallery.
Supporting art galleries and businesses will be open and offer surprises.
Tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased at www.wellfleetspat.org/specialevents.
