Wellfleet Voters Head to Polls Monday

WELLFLEET – Wellfleet voters will decide on 13 ballot questions and one contested race in Monday’s election.

The only contested race on the ballot is for Wellfleet Housing Authority where incumbent Richard Ciotti is facing a challenge from Autumn Heather Edwards.

There are uncontested races for selectmen, Wellfleet school committee, board of library trustees, cemetery commission and constable.

Among several tax override and debt exclusions on the ballot, Wellfleet voters will decide on money for harbor dredging and the purchase of tidal flats.

Other spending items seek money for preschool vouchers, DPW equipment, a new firefighter position and a used fire ladder truck for the fire department.

Polls are open in Wellfleet from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
