West Falmouth Library Hosts Live View of Stellwagen Bank Expedition

WEST FALMOUTH – Marine Imaging Technologies is teaming with NOAA’s Office of National Marine Sanctuaries and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution to explore the life and shipwrecks of the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary in Massachusetts Bay.

The primary archaeological goal of the expedition is to assess the current state of several of the more than 200 wrecks in the sanctuary.

Those that want to see the expedition can view it live at the West Falmouth Library on Wednesday at 10:30am.

Live commentary will also be provided by Archeologist Calvin Mires and Marine Biologist Dr. Kirsten Meyers.
