HYANNIS – Barnstable police arrested a West Yarmouth man early this morning after he allegedly pulled a loaded gun on multiple people at Embargo in Hyannis.
Police arrived at the Main Street establishment at 12:45 a.m. and officer Keith Sexton jumped a railing onto the raised patio and quickly detained the suspect, who was arguing with security.
Christopher Desimone, 44, was charged with two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, carrying a loaded firearm while under the influence of alcohol and committing a felony while armed.
Witnesses told police that Simone got into fight with a woman, whom he didn’t know, and pointed a gun at her.
Desimone was escourted out of the building and he allegedly pulled out the gun again and threatened to kill a security guard.
Police say they recovered a loaded .38 calibur Walther PPK/S pistol from his waistband.
He is being held on $1,000 cash bail and is scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow in Barnstable District Court.
