Westwood Man Charged With Nantucket Assault

NANTUCKET – A Westwood man is in trouble on Nantucket.

Thomas Geraghty, 21, was arraigned on a litany of charges this week, including larceny of a motor vehicle, assault with a dangerous weapon, and assault and battery on a police officer.

According to the Inquirer and Mirror, Geraghty is accused of stealing a truck, throwing a glass bottle at passerby, and then attempting to evade police.

Police said he elbowed an officer during his booking.
