WELLFLEET – The Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater is inviting the community to warm up after the Wellfleet Holiday Stroll with an Open House event.
The Holiday Open House is Saturday, December 8 beginning at 4 p.m.
Guests can enjoy warm refreshments while listening to musical performances by All Worn Out Jug Band, Bourbon Sunset, and Shore Thing, along with a stage performance of “Old Mr. Scrooge.”
“Old Mr. Scrooge” is a ten minute modern adaptation of “A Christmas Carol” specifically written for a younger audience.
The All Worn Out Jug Band is a Chatham-based post-revival roots music band who performs a number of traditional tunes from the Kweskin/Even Dozen/Memphis Jug Band’s songbook with old country, folk, gospel and blues.
Bourbon Street is an Outer Cape trio of the mandolin, banjo and guitar with familiar bluegrass and folk repertoires.
And part of the Cape Cod Surftones, Shore Thing is a barbershop quartet.
Admission is free for the Open House, but donations to the Lower Cape Outreach Council’s Fuel Assistance Program, the Wellfleet Food Pantry and Toys for Tots are encouraged.
