‘Wild Winter Night’ to Benefit Wild Care

EASTHAM – An Eastham wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center is asking residents on Cape Cod to once again “Go Wild” this winter to support the organization.

Wild Care Inc. will host their mid-winter celebration, “Wild Winter Night,” on Saturday, February 10 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Elks Lodge on McKoy Road in Eastham.

Wild Care supporters and friends can enjoy food from George’s Fish Market, live music from the Bert Jackson Quartet, raffles, along with hundreds of silent and live auction items.

Auction items include hotel stays, animal-themed gift baskets, restaurant certificates, artwork and more.

Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. Admission includes clam chowder, soft drinks, appetizers and desert. Additional food and bar drinks can be purchased.

Wild Care has accepted over 25,000 wild animals, including 275 different species of birds, mammals and reptiles, since it was founded.

On average, the wildlife rescue and rehab center receives more than 1,300 wild animals per year for treatment.
