Wildlife Tracking Experiences On The Way With Harwich Conservation Trust

HARWICH – The Harwich Conservation Trust is presenting two wildlife tracking experiences.

The first is scheduled for Saturday, March 10th from 9:00 – 11:30 a.m.

Naturalist and tracking instructor Todd Kelley will lead a hands-on workshop identifying wildlife tracks and sign left by animals including fox, raccoon, otter, deer, skunk and maybe even mink.

Each participant will receive a 16-page handout which contains a land mammal checklist for Cape Cod, concise instruction and an extensive trackers bibliography.

An advanced trackers walk will take place on Saturday, March 17th from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m., where attendees will enhance their tracker training during a workshop companion walk.

Both programs will take place at Bell’s Neck Conservation Lands.

For prices, including a discount for attending both, and more information, contact the Harwich Conservation Trust.
