WorldFest Returns to Provincetown in June

PROVINCETOWN – An international cultural festival designed to welcome, support, celebrate and integrate Provicetown’s international student/work population returns next month.

The 7th annual WorldFest will be held June 11 and 12 and will offer information on life in Provincetown and provide events to showcase cultural and creative expression.

An informational event will be held June 11 and 12 from noon to 5 p.m. in front of the Unitarian Universalist Meeting House on Commercial Street.

A handbook, created by several community agencies, which contains essential information for international students and workers on life in Provincetown will be available to all.

Information about bicycle safety, medical resources and public safety will also be available.

Ptown Bikes will also provide free bicycle safety checks on June 11 at the informational event.

The festival concludes with a concert June 12 at 7 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Meeting House. The concert features international workers and residents from the Caribbean to the Balkans and beyond. The event is free, but donations will be accepted and distributed among the performers.
