YARMOUTH – The state fire marshal’s office has determined that a fire on Tuesday that heavily damaged a leather goods store in Yarmouth was accidental.
Spokesperson Jennifer Mieth said the blaze at Sur Tan Leather Trading Post started in the attic, but the exact cause was officially undetermined.
The fire tore through the roof shortly after it broke out. There were no injuries.
Crews from Dennis assisted Yarmouth in fighting the flames.
