Yarmouth Chamber Hosting Candidates Night Ahead of Town Election

YARMOUTH – The Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce is hosting a candidates night next week ahead of town election next month.

The organization says the event will give voters an opportunity to learn more about those running for seats on the Board of Selectmen and the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School Committee.

Incumbent selectmen Norm Holcomb and Erik Tolley are running for re-election and are being challenged by Joshua Richards and Joe Glynn.

For Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School committee, Joseph Tierney is seeking another term on the board and is being challenged by Michelle Conover and Joe Glynn.

The candidates will answer questions from a panel made up of local radio and newspaper reporters.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 25 at 6:30 at Yarmouth Town Hall.

Seating is limited and the forum will be televised on Yarmouth Channel 18.

Yarmouth Town Election is May 15.
