Yarmouth Chamber Hosting Workshops

YARMOUTH  – A new series called “Bridging the Information Gap” will be hosted by the Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce.  It is comprised of three workshops which will cover forms of communication that can greatly assist a business.

Ashley Cormier, the chamber’s marketing director, explains one of the goals.  “Giving businesses an opportunity, as part of their membership, to come to these workshops, learn a little bit about what they can do to expand their business with social media, their staff, etc.”

The first session, titled “Facebook/Instagram Brand Strategy for Your Business”, will be held on Tuesday.  Up next, on March 6th, will be “Leadership and Communication”, followed by “Developing Emotional Intelligence” on April 3rd

Cormier points out that many businesses are interested in obtaining more knowledge in these areas.  “Everyone’s really tuned into Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms.  We’re finding that a lot of our local businesses are not as savvy as they want to be, and are looking for opportunities to really expand their knowledge.”

Members of the chamber can attend all of the workshops for free, while non-members have to pay a $5 registration fee.  They will all take place from 8:30 to 10:30 am and space is limited.
