YARMOUTH – The Garden Club of Yarmouth is offering up to $3,000 in scholarship funding.
The awards are for graduating high school students or individuals currently enrolled in a formal program of study in agriculture, conservation, environmental sciences, horticulture, landscape design, aquaculture, forestry or similar fields.
Applicants may attend any of the schools in the area and the scholarship will be awarded after a successful first semester.
A $500 “Toolship” award is also available to a student to start his or her own career in landscaping or related areas previously mentioned.
Applications are available at gardenclubofyarmouth.org.
Preference is given to Yarmouth residents.
The deadline to apply is April 15.
