Yarmouth Police Ask for Senior Holiday Gift Items

KA_Yarmouth_Police station sign_11915YARMOUTH – The Yarmouth Police Department and Yarmouth Police Community Advisory Team are collecting gifts for a senior Secret Santa effort.

They gift bags they will construct will be given to seniors in need on December 23rd. But the department needs donations of items to fill those bags.

The department lists the following as suggestions: socks, slippers, hats, scarves, gloves, cough drops, dish towels, candy canes, sweaters, sport team items, chocolates, tea, magnified mirrors, coffee, jams, crackers, hard candy, lip balm, blankets, gift cards, and large print books.

Donations can be dropped off at the Yarmouth Police Headquarters lobby.

Anyone interested in assembling the gift bags is asked to come to the headquarters at 6 p.m. on December 22nd.
