Yarmouth Police Highlight POW-MIA Chair In Honor of Vietnam Vets

ChairYARMOUTH – Yarmouth police are calling attention to their Prisoner of War Missing in Action memorial chair in honor of Vietnam Veterans Appreciation Week.

The chair recognizes the 91,000 American soldiers who have been unaccounted for since World War I.

The chair was donated to the town by the Nicholas Xiarhos Memorial Fund in 2014.

Vietnam veterans week is recognized at the end of March to mark the withdrawal of US troops on March 29, 1973.
