Yarmouth Police Investigating after 21 Street Signs Were Stolen

Street SignYARMOUTH – Yarmouth Police are asking for the public’s help after a number of street signs were stolen over the past week.

There were 21 signs stolen and each are valued at $50.

Police said that the thefts occurred in the South and West Yarmouth neighborhoods and that the signs help police and firefighters respond to residents and visitors in emergencies.

The signs stolen were:

Nantucket

Ocean

Wampanoag

Eldridge

Burch

Mayo

Lyndale

Mackenzie

Sunset

River

Wilfin

Out of Bounds

Antlers

Captain Blount

Violet Glen

Virginia

Cleveland

Adams

Anyone with information about the thefts or the whereabouts of the signs, are asked to contact the Yarmouth Police Department.
