YARMOUTH – Yarmouth police are asking for the public’s help in finding a driver who crashed into a fire hydrant last night and left the scene of the accident.
The accident caused a major water leak on Buck Island Road near Lake Road.
Police are looking for a dark colored SUV and say the car should have front end damage from the crash. The accident happened around midnight and the car was last seen heading towards Winslow Gray Road.
Anybody with information is asked to contact Yarmouth police.
