YARMOUTH – Members of the Yarmouth Police Department will be volunteering to bag groceries at Stop & Shop on Long Pond Drive in South Yarmouth Friday.
The Community Policing Partnership Building event also serves as a chance to donate to The Jimmy Fund.
The Jimmy Fund supports the fight against cancer at Boston’s Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, raises funds for adult and pediatric cancer care and research to improve the chances of survival for cancer patients worldwide.
Members of the Yarmouth Police Community Advisory Team will also be volunteering.
The event is from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
