YARMOUTH – Those using the golf courses in Yarmouth in 2017 will have to pay a little more.
Selectmen approved a series of hikes to golf fees at a meeting last month.
Under the new schedule, annual resident passes will be increased from $825-$850, under 35 passes will go from $470-$490 and under 23 passes will rise from $265-$275.
“This was the recommendation of the committee to recommend this array of fees, which includes the same fees that were offered last year and with some minor modifications,” said Yarmouth Golf Director Jim Armentrout.
The nine-hole golf cart fee for residents is going up from $7.75-$8 and for 18 holes, $12.75-$13.
For non-residents, the nine-hole golf cart fee will be increased from $13.50-$14 and the 18 hole cart fee with be raised from $21-$21.50.
“The resident golf cart fees remain the lowest resident golf cart fees of any of the municipalities that are in the golf business on Cape,” said Armentrout.
