WEST BARNSTABLE – The YMCA of Cape Cod is holding an event today in conjunction with World Diabetes Day in an attempt to raise awareness about the disease.
“Eyes On Diabetes” will connect doctors and experts with residents to discuss current trends to reduce individual risk and manage care. The panel will speak on both type 1 and type 2 diabetes and prediabetes.
The event runs until 3 p.m. at the YMCA’s Iyannough Road location in West Barnstable.
It is free and open to the public.
