Youth Prevention Forum and 7th Grade Summit to be held at Cape Cod Community College

WEST BARNSTABLE – The Barnstable Youth Commission’s second annual Community Prevention Forum and Seventh Grade Youth Summit will be held this week at Cape Cod Community College.

The focus of the prevention forum is to help students resist the temptation of drugs and other pressures associated with high school life.

The forum is Thursday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The Seventh Grade Youth Summit will be held on Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The featured speakers for the summit include Robert Hackenson Jr., of Dynamic Influence, and Anita Baglaneas Devlin and Michael Devlin, co-authors of the book S.O.B.E.R.*.
