We all know that Christmas is the time of giving… But all too often, we overlook giving to the people who need our help the most. This holiday season, Cape Cod Broadcasting Media, Child and Family Services and Mid-Cape Home Centers have reached out to the Cape Cod community to make sure the families in our own neighborhoods do not go without this Christmas. Client is a 14-year-old bi-racial female who lives with her father & two brothers while visiting mom once a week & sometimes weekends if permitted. Client struggles with Depression, low-self-esteem & has a history of sel-harm where hospitalizations have take place. Client and brothers were homeschooled until last year where they transitioned to public schools. Client struggles daily with socializing & feels isolated at home based on rules that dad has placed. Client feels as thought 'no one really cares' for her & that dad is too controlling with the many rules he has. In the past, client & family have struggled with food insecurity. It would be greatly appreciated if the client was able to receive some outside support during the holiday season & get a boost of confidence with positive thoughts of "people caring about the client". Child #1: 14-year-old female fits into a juniors large/XL for shirts, pants & sweatpants. She wears a size 8.5/9 women's boot/shoe & would love self-care items for shaving, bubble baths & tumeric soap as well as makeup and hair accessories. Client would also really love to have a pink backpack, white skirts, & Sanrio stuff as well as ROBLOX giftcards. Child #2: 13-year old male would love gift cards to gamestop &/or ROBLOX. Child #3: Male would love gift cards to gamestop &/or ROBLOX. Parent/guardian 1: 40-year old male would love gift cards to stop and shop/grocery stores.
