We all know that Christmas is the time of giving… But all too often, we overlook giving to the people who need our help the most. This holiday season, Cape Cod Broadcasting Media, Child and Family Services and Mid-Cape Home Centers have reached out to the Cape Cod community to make sure the families in our own neighborhoods do not go without this Christmas. Struggling single mother of three kids who is attending her last year of college while working two jobs. Child #1: 7-year-old boy. Does gymnastics and wants to start soccer. Loves unicorns, Legos, rainbows, buses, rescue vehicles and construction vehicles. Clothes: Size 6, 6/7. Shoes 13/1. Child #2: 10-year-old boy. Love soccer, video games and Legos. Clothes: Size 14/16 pants, child XL or adult small shirts, size 6.5/7 shoes. Child #3: 18-year-old girl. Likes computer games and wants to learn to cook. Clothes: Size Junior 5, small/medium shirts, shoes 9.5. Needs clothes that work in retail job. All of the children love to read and would appreciate books. Parent/guardian #1: Mother: Needs things for the home, like towels, plates, bowls, linens. Could also use some professional clothes, to prepare for interviews.
