We all know that Christmas is the time of giving… But all too often, we overlook giving to the people who need our help the most. This holiday season, Cape Cod Broadcasting Media, Child and Family Services and Mid-Cape Home Centers have reached out to the Cape Cod community to make sure the families in our own neighborhoods do not go without this Christmas. This 11 year old boy is living with his parents and older sister. One parent has some significant mental health concerns and both children in the home are in services to work through trauma and behavior issues. Family has been through a lot recently with custody changes and struggle with financial resources but are working together with family therapy and individual therapy services to increase communication and create healthy boundaries. Child #1: 11 year old boy. Size 14/16. Requests long sleeve shirts (solid colors), jogger style pants, tall black socks, hoodies/fleece pullovers. Likes legos, matchbox cars/trucks, paints for art projects. Child #2: 15 year old girl – size small in womens. Requests amazon gift card and Newbury Comics gift card, socks, band tshirts. Likes face masks and self care items. Likes anything related to music (plays the guitar) Parent/guardian #1: Mom – Marshalls and Amazon gift card Parent/guardian #2: Dad – Stop & Shop, Dunkin gift cards. Anything Patriots or Red Sox.
