We all know that Christmas is the time of giving… But all too often, we overlook giving to the people who need our help the most. This holiday season, Cape Cod Broadcasting Media, Child and Family Services and Mid-Cape Home Centers have reached out to the Cape Cod community to make sure the families in our own neighborhoods do not go without this Christmas. This individual lives at home with partner and two teenage kids. He struggles with anxiety and some PTSD that impacts his ability to work consistently. He has gone through a lot in his life but has a supportive family and improving relationship with his son and grandkids in the last couple of years. Financial concerns are a big worry for this family, so having some gift cards and gifts for Christmas would make a big difference for this holiday. Child #1: 16 year old boy – long sleeve tshirts, winter jacket (size Medium) would prefer a gift card to pick out his own clothing if possible. Child #2: 18 year old girl – gift cards to Amazon, Dunkin, TJ Maxx or Marshalls Parent/guardian #1: Dad – Sneakers (size XL/XXL) and some long johns (size XL), gift card to dunkin Parent/guardian #2: Mom- gift cards to Walmart, a nice pair of winter gloves.
