We all know that Christmas is the time of giving… But all too often, we overlook giving to the people who need our help the most. This holiday season, Cape Cod Broadcasting Media, Child and Family Services and Mid-Cape Home Centers have reached out to the Cape Cod community to make sure the families in our own neighborhoods do not go without this Christmas. This teenager has been experiencing a difficult year as his grandfather passed away unexpectedly and his grandmother was recently diagnosed with cancer. He has always been very close with his grandparents and is struggling to adjust to life without his grandfather. He and his mother are doing their best to maintain a positive outlook for his grandmother and to focus on the time they have together. They would like to make this Christmas a special one for the grandmother and would appreciate any help they can receive in making that happen. Child #1: A 14-year-old male who could use some art supplies (drawing paper, drawing pencils, markers) and a gift card to Amazon. He loves Mario, Five Nights at Freddy’s, and Mickey Mouse. Parent/Guardian #1: A 35-year-old female who could use a gift card to Stop & Shop and would love a spa gift set and a new bath robe. Grandmother: A 65-year-old female who could also use a spa gift set, new bath robe, and a journal with a nice pen set.
