We all know that Christmas is the time of giving… But all too often, we overlook giving to the people who need our help the most. This holiday season, Cape Cod Broadcasting Media, Child and Family Services and Mid-Cape Home Centers have reached out to the Cape Cod community to make sure the families in our own neighborhoods do not go without this Christmas. A multi-generational family is in need of some support this holiday season. This family works hard to make ends meet, and are still needing support financially. This family values spending time together, and making the most of the little things. They are hoping for some help with basic needs. They thank their community for their generosity in supporting those that need it most this season, and hope to do the same in the future for another family. Adult #1: Female, 19, could use a winter jacket (women's L), sweatpants, leggings and/or joggers (size medium), and long, thick socks. She could also use work shoes: black sneakers (size 6). She could also use winter gloves. Parent #1: Female, 30, could use sweaters (women's XL) and winter boots (size 9.5). She enjoys reading and writing, and comfort items like blankets and fuzzy socks. She could also use winter gloves. She notes that her family is in need of a shovel. Grandparent #1: Female, 64, could use sweaters (women's XL) and winter boots (size 9.5). She enjoys cooking and baking for her family, and could benefit from a grocery gift card. She could also use winter gloves and socks.
