We all know that Christmas is the time of giving… But all too often, we overlook giving to the people who need our help the most. This holiday season, Cape Cod Broadcasting Media, Child and Family Services and Mid-Cape Home Centers have reached out to the Cape Cod community to make sure the families in our own neighborhoods do not go without this Christmas. A mother and her two daughters are living on the cape as the oldest daughter attends college. The family is accessing mental health services while navigating the parents’ divorce and changes in family relationships. The family enjoys spending quality time together singing, dancing, and doing arts and crafts. They also are looking forward to decorating their home together for the holidays and love creating a festive and joyful atmosphere. The family would greatly appreciate some extra support this holiday season. Child #1: A 4 year old girl loves dancing, singing, listening to music, and arts and crafts. She is interested in getting involved in dance classes, gymnastics, or drama lessons. She would love baby dolls, barbie & accessories, and anything Sonic the Hedgehog. She wishes for a Kids Amazon Fire Tablet. She wears size 5T in clothing and size 11 toddler in shoes. Child #2: An 18 year old girl loves anything Billie Eilish (and specifically wishes for Billie Eilish’s perfume). She also loves self-care/journaling, doing makeup, and getting her hair done. She would appreciate new pajamas and wears a size women’s large and/or an amazon gift card. Parent/guardian #1: A woman in her late 30s would appreciate anything self-care related. She wishes for candles, a massage, yoga classes, and/or a hair cut & color. She could also use amazon gift cards and/or car maintenance gift cards. Mother would also greatly appreciate a gift certificate to enjoy a meal out for breakfast, lunch or dinner with her daughters.
